Rules:
1. Each team shall comprise two participants
from classes IX to XII.
2. Five teams for the main Quiz competition
will be selected on the basis of a Preliminary Selection / Elimination Round(Written/Online
test of 20 questions). Students need to bring laptop/tablet/mobile phone with
active internet connection for Preliminary selection Round.
3. In case of a tie between 2 or more teams, additional
5 questions would decide the teams entering the finals.
4. The questions will cover a wide range of
subjects like Science, Environment, Sports, Indian constitution, Arts,
Literature, Current Affairs, History, Geography, Entertainment and Numerical
Ability. The questions may be oral, audio or video based.
5. Each
team shall have to choose only one speaker out of two, to avoid multiple
answers.
6. Participants to be seated in accordance with
the draw of lots.
7. Replacement of any participant of a team is
not allowed after registration.
8. The Quiz-master’s decision will be final
& binding to all.
9. Kindly note that If round 1 begins clockwise
then round 2 goes anti-clockwise to ensure fair-play.

1 : Warm up (MCQs):
- If the participant cannot answer the question.
The questions will not be passed on.
- Each team
will be asked 5 questions.
- 10 marks
for correct answer and no negative marks for wrong answer.
- Answering
time is 15 seconds.
- Team
discussion is allowed.
Round
2: Subject Oriented Round (choose any one subject)
- Each team
will be asked 5 questions based on team’s choice of topic.
- 10 marks
for correct answer and no negative marks for wrong answer.
- If the participant cannot answer the question.
The questions will not be passed on.
- Answering
time is 15 seconds.
- Team
discussion is allowed.
Round
3: Hide & Seek Round (one picture to be shown in portions for
identification)
- 10 marks
for the correct answer.
- No
negative marking.
- If the participant cannot answer the question.
The questions will not be passed on.
- Answering
time is 15 seconds.
Round
4: Current Affairs-Buzzer Based Round
- A question will be fired & the team that presses the
buzzer first gets to answer first. Total 10 questions will be asked in this
round.
- 10 mark for the correct answer and 5 negative marks for
the wrong answer.
- The questions will not be passed on.
- Answering time is
15 seconds.
Round
5- Audio-Video Round
- Teams
will be shown an image and will have to identify the image: 5 visuals.
- 10 mark
for the correct answer and no negative marks for wrong answer.
- Answering
time is 15 seconds.
- If the participant cannot answer the question.
The questions will not be passed on.
Round
6: Rapid Fire Round
- Each team
will be asked 10 questions one after another in 50 seconds time.
- 10 marks
for the correct answer and no negative marks for the wrong answer.
- Team
discussion is allowed.
- If a team cannot
answer the question, it has the choice to say pass for the next question till
they finish all the questions.
- The questions will not be passed on.
Round 7: Tie-breaker round (If required)
Tie-breaker round is audio/visual round with a total of five questions asked in
succession like in a buzzer round.
