Workshop on Vedic Mathematics:

 The workshop ensures that the participants acquaint themselves with the magic of Vedic Maths and learn formulas and tricks that help them to solve complex mathematical problems with ease.

 Vedic Mathematics is a super-fast way of making all Mathematical Calculations easy and fast. The history of Vedic Mathematics finds its roots in ancient texts in the remote antiquity of time, where calculations were done mentally requiring perfect coordination of both parts of the brain. In due course of time, with the help of evolved minds of the sages and seers who knew the secret of numbers, derived short cut methods to calculate faster and in an easy manner. Since this system was devised in Vedic age, we call it ‘Vedic Mathematics’.

Workshop on Abacus:

The Abacus workshop is aimed to help kids to enhance cognitive power, memory, speed, accuracy, visualization, decision making, strategical thinking and brain development. This program is designed by experts in the field of child education, child psychology and medicine, on the basis of their vast experience derived over a period of time.

 

Workshop on Robotics:

Robotics is the art and science of making robotic machines that combine concepts from multiple engineering disciplines. Creating one’s own robot will help one to practically learn how engineering is applied.

 

Workshop on Aeromodelling:

Aeromodelling is a hobby in which a trainee learns to build a model of an aircraft for actualizing the concept of flying machine.  This is a model solely for the purpose of demonstration.

 

Workshop on Financial literacy:

Financial literacy is the first step towards achieving financial inclusion. It creates the need to seek and receive financial advice and services thereof. It essentially increases awareness about organised banking viz. savings credit, remittance, insurance and investments.

ICICI Foundation provides a Financial Literacy Programme. The programme is undertaken through financial literacy counsellors and faculties of ICICI Academy for Skills. The main objective of these programmes is to increase awareness about financial products, enhance the decision-making ability of beneficiaries regarding these financial products and to develop a sustainable financial system.

Workshop on AI & Cyber Safety:

The Pandits of Cyber security are very much concerned about the dubious working of the ‘Dark Web’. Over a period of time, the dark web has acquired the notoriety of being formidable force that needs to be checked at all times. Whatever innovations related to software and machine design have been done till now, are on account of painstaking effort on the part of brilliant minds.

AI is a revolutionary concept that in some way or the other, brings together the working of machines with the help of specialized software and equipping the same with working intelligence for fast-track problem solving. It is indeed a cementing and synergizing of a relationship between Mechanical, Electronics and Computer Science Engineering. Cyber security needs a serious revamping to include AI driven machine to track and negate the nefarious designs of those who find refuge in the dark web.

 

Workshop on Rubik’s Cubes:

Innovation of a Rubik’s Cube is a scintillating example of the finesse of Human Intelligence. Everything that is existing now and what will come next, follows a logical pattern. The movement of the planets, motion of the stars and countless forms of forces that act upon each other strictly follow an order that is governed by logic.

A Rubik’s cube helps cultivation and sharpening of a child’s cognitive skills. That in turn, is crucial for problem-solving, spatial reasoning and logical thinking. It is a unique way of teaching impressionable minds to solve typical problems without feeling the burden. It is a play-way method that is a hit not only with children, but also with older people. This workshop is a part of our endeavour to make learning easy and spontaneous.
